Welcome to Loveland’s oldest drive
through. Back in the 1940’s cherry pies were sold to tourists on their way to Estes Park.
The white building behind was built as an ice house. It is at least one hundred
years old. The thick walls are insulated with sawdust. In the winter, ice was
harvested from the nearby Thompson River and
stored for use during the summer.
Thankfully we now have refrigeration, and the sturdy building is
utilized as storage.
We want to thank you for patronizing our
family owned business. We realize that there are several other coffee shops
around. We don’t aim to compete with the big guys, and we sincerely hope other
locally owned businesses thrive. . We make every attempt to buy as many
products locally for our business. After all, our friends and neighbors are the
ones who support us. Your feedback is always welcomed. Please offer suggestions
on how we can better serve you.
Stop on by for some refreshment, and feel
free to linger at a picnic table under the big trees.
Sincerely,
Christine, Brandi, Alex and Rhianna.
p.s.
Our coffee is very, very good!
